VMA's Magic Totals $170,000+

On the evening of November 10, Burbank High School Vocal Music Association entertained the community with its smiling students. In Sync, Impressions, Out of the Blue, Sapphire, along with special acts, had the chance to sing the pieces that they had been practicing. The appeared to be mesmerized by their voices. VMA raised $160,000 from that night. VMA Director Brett Carroll said, “The money goes to choreographers, costumes, sets, props, musical equipment, musical arrangements, guest artists, and choir camp.” VMA fundraises to pay for their numerous competitions.
Therefore, Night of Magic is an opportunity for the community to learn more about VMA and financially support the award-winning group. To sum up this truly magical event, Esther Shin from In Sync said, “The community of Burbank came to together to support our school’s great VMA program. We raised thousands of dollars to put into good use for all the students.” will get a chance to see them perform at the annual holiday concert.
